Communicating With The NCO Collection Department Is Key
In an effort to combat consumer doubt about valid debt collections, NCO Financial Systems, Inc. ("NCO") has created a website that is designed to give information to consumers about outstanding debt and how to communicate with NCO collection representatives to resolve that debt.
Personal and business related debt has grown over the past few years. Many of these debts have gone unpaid and have been turned over to a third party collection agency. The NCO collection department is responsible for handling third party collections for creditors in an effort to recover a debt and keep it from being recorded as a loss.
NCO Financial Systems, Inc. operates within the guidelines of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, or FDCPA, which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission. All NCO collection representatives understand these guidelines. The Consumer Help Unit Website also provides consumers with information on FDCPA guidelines. It is also a centralized resource for consumers to obtain contact information to call an NCO collection representative with issues or concerns they may have regarding their outstanding debt.
Consumers can contact an NCO collection representative via various communication methods. A consumer can visit ConsumerHelpUnit.org and fill out a form or receive a call using the “Let Us Call You” feature. This features notifies an NCO collection representative that the consumer is awaiting their call to communicate information or make a payment.
If the consumer chooses the form feature, they will be able to provide detailed information regarding an outstanding debt in collections. An NCO collection representative will then send a return email notifying the consumer that NCO Financial Systems, Inc. has received their form and gives them an opportunity to correct any required information. A toll-free number is also provided in the email so the consumer can call an NCO Financial Systems, Inc. representative regarding their debt.
With the current economic environment, consumers are taking on more and more debt. The ability for consumers to pay their debts has been affected by job losses, high gas prices, etc.. These factors have led to the rise in NCO collection efforts. NCO Financial Systems, Inc. is prepared to help consumers get a jump on paying their bills with the Consumer Help Unit website.
If you have a debt that you want to pay and get out of collections, NCO Financial Systems, Inc. has the answer at ConsumerHelpUnit.org.
